September 11, 20169 yr I've added a new disk to unraid and everything went smooth but when i transfer a new file, it's says that i don't have enought space. All the other disk are full so it's normal that unraid cannot write to these disk but i don't understand why it doesn't write to the new one. see the screenshot attached.
September 11, 20169 yr Community Expert Are you writing to a user share? Is the user share set to include only certain disks? Does the user share have split level settings that require the file you are writing to be grouped with files already on the other disks? Does Global Share Settings include only certain disks?
September 11, 20169 yr This is almost certainly a settings issue, as trurl noted. I suspect you have a user share that's set to include only disks 2 and 3; or possibly your global settings are limited to the same. Simply update those settings and all will be well
September 11, 20169 yr Author In the folder share settings, i have: Included disk = all Split level = manual, do not automaticly split directories Allocation method = High water In the global share settings, i have: enable disk share = yes enable user share = yes include disks = all
