Right now I'm using Dynamix File Integrity to prevent against bit rot but it's method of notifying me of changed files is kinda trash. If I go to the unraid dashboard it'll say in a yellow box that X files were changed but offers no way to actually see what had changed. The only way to see what has changed is having the log written to a file or by reading the syslog, both of which are super inconvenient. Are there any alternatives that support email notifications or something?

What you're asking is already possible. Settings->notification settings

 

And set up email for notifications.
