September 16, 20169 yr I'm helping spec out a server for a friend now and looking at this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813182822R https://www.supermicro.com/support/resources/memory/display.cfm?sz=8.0&mspd=1.6&mtyp=45&id=4CFA4655130C014A5A9FFDAAEFCDAAE1&prid=0&type=0&ecc=0®=0&fbd=0 Looking at the "tested memory" list on the Supermicro web page, the 8GB chips they have listed are old numbers, out of stock. Can anyone vouch for an 8GB chip that works and currently available? I used this in my new build with an ASRock board, would it work in the Supermicro? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820239370 Thanks in advance.

September 16, 20169 yr Author This is what I'm using in mine- http://www.nextwarehouse.com/item/?1171059_g10e This looks like the DDR3 1333 version of the 1600 I posted a link for. Any reason to think the 1600 wouldn't work?
September 16, 20169 yr I tend to use Kingston ValueRAM in any server board I use, including SuperO. It just works.
