I'm helping spec out a server for a friend now and looking at this board:

Looking at the "tested memory" list on the Supermicro web page, the 8GB chips they have listed are old numbers, out of stock.  Can anyone vouch for an 8GB chip that works and currently available? 

 

I used this in my new build with an ASRock board, would it work in the Supermicro?

This looks like the DDR3 1333 version of the 1600 I posted a link for.  Any reason to think the 1600 wouldn't work?

I tend to use Kingston ValueRAM in any server board I use, including SuperO.  It just works.
