Roll Back from 6.2 to 6.1.9 - easy as it says it is?

Featured Replies

I recently upgraded from 6.1.9 to 6.2 via web gui update and problems have went from occasional once every 3 months or so to every 5 to 8 hours. I have had no response here on the following post and i am thinking of trying a roll back.  - http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=51922.0

is it as simple as follows "To undo your upgrade, copy the files from the "previous" folder to the root of your USB flash boot device and reboot your server"?  Has there been any automated changes from the upgraded process to dockers or plugins that would affect a rollback?

Is it possible that my dockers or plugins could be exacerbating problems with my 6.2 install?

I currently have the machine turned off and am waiting for 2 new 6tb drives to arrive around Sept 21 and am preclearing 4 and 5tb drives that were marked as faulty, but may not be faulty.

Yes

No changes, but if you've set up a second parity drive then you'll lose access to that

doubtful
