September 18, 20169 yr Hi Sir, I just newly install Unraid 6.2 and windows 10 VM with an old PC which used to run windows 10 only. The 6.2 unraid can login directly with the Unraid GUI when booting, then I start the array and start the Windows 10 VM. The screen will change to display the window VM and running just like an normal windows 10. However, when I stop the window VM (Unraid keep running), the PC stay as black screen and I don't find a way to see/re-active the Unraid GUI. the only way to access it is to type in the IP address by other laptop in the same network. Is there any way/setting allow me to resume to the Unraid GUI once after I closed the windows VM. I don't want to restart the Windows VM by another device everytime. Can anyone please help to advise?
September 18, 20169 yr Can we safely assume you are talking about the GPU is passed through and when you turn off the VM it goes black? If that's the case you have 2 options at current: 1. Drop in another cheap GPU in slot 1 just for unraid. (What I do, and I change inputs on my monitor as I have an FX AMD) 2. Live with it until they possibly get a toggle sequence for the keyboard to go back to unraid. (I am not sure that is even on the roadmap)

I tried option 1, luckily that I have build in GPU with my CPU. so, I reset the default VGA from PCI express to on-board, and assign the PCI-e GPU to VM. it work now. the tricky thing is, my logitech mouse will resume to work in Unrail GUI once I turn off the Windows VM. So, I think the GPU should work too. Hope the coming update would fix this problem.
