Creating a New VM in 6.2 and Hitting the UEFI Shell

I am trying to create a new VM but when starting it I am stuck at the UEFI shell.

 

I have tried following http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=51874.0 but both fs0: and fs1: are not working (see screenshot).

 

fs0:

cd efi

cd boot

bootx64.efi

 

Adjust the first command to fs1: if fs0: doesn't work.  This only needs to be performed once per OVMF VM.

 

Any help is appreciated.

 

EDIT: Looks like the issue is related to the OS not supporting OVMF. Recreating the VM with SeaBIOS resolved.

    Upvote for solution. Was unsure why I couldn't get past the UEFI shell. Configuring the VM with SeaBIOS worked for me as well. Thanks!

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
