September 19, 20169 yr Can someone tell me the correct procedure to remove 2 2TB drives. There's nothing wrong with them however I just updated to unraid 6.2 and would like to add another 4TB HGST_HMS5C4040ALE640 to match the one I already have for parity (so this would be the second parity drive) and add another 3TB ST3000VN000 which is left over from my previous Asustor NAS that I sold. Both of the 2 2TB drives are empty I already check with MC. I figure If I have to go through the parity rebuild again might as well swap out one of the 2TB drives.

September 19, 20169 yr Author Thanks Johnnie I follow "The "Remove Drives Then Rebuild Parity" Method" did the "new config" from the link you provided, remove the 2 x 2TB drives, added the new 4TB parity and a new 3TB NAS data drive and system is now rebuilding the dual parity all previous data is intact I was a bit scare since I never added/remove a drive and wanted to be sure.
