ROOT Password

Hello, I have installed unRAID and have it up and running.

The issue I have is that I assigned a password to the root account via the WebGUI and was able to login with that PW one time only.

All subsequent times I have tried to logon have resulted in an "unknown user" error; this happen when using IE or Chrome.

Is there a way to reset the root PW so that I can gain access to the system?

I would rather not have to wipe it all and reconfigure, that is a bit time consuming.

    login to the terminal as root and type: passwd

     

    should prompt for the password change.
