Uploaded to Cached Share Goes Straight to Array

Featured Replies

Uploading a 8GB MKV to my "Movies1" share (use cache drive setting is ON). Noticed I was getting crappy speed so I took a peek and it was loading to the array not the cache drive as expected. Looked in Log and it claims the user cache is full.

Cache drive is 250 GB SSD. Has 99 GB free. Definitely not full. So go poking around some more and spot that Movies1 share (20 TB free space) has "Minimum free space" set to 100 GB. Hmm... so is my Share minimum space setting being used to evaluate the free space on my cache drive?

Reset "Minimum free space" set to 10 GB on Movies1, deleted the 8 GB file and folder and proceeded to upload it again. This time it went to the cache drive as expected.

Is this a bug or a feature?

I am also getting really choppy upload speeds to the SSD. Often dropping to 30 mb (1/3 of normal) since upgrading to 6.2. I expect that to the array but not to the cache drive. Diagnostics attached for anyone that can spot a reason for this?
