September 21, 20169 yr Hello all! I am having trouble with the Unraid 6 to do a clean shit down. Every time I try to du a shutdown/restart it hungs on something. Usually some docker thats not behaving as expected. Thats often an easy fix, to kill the process. But sometimes it gets stuck on the file system sync: Syslog: Sep 21 06:52:40 UNRAID avahi-daemon[8721]: Leaving mDNS multicast group on interface eth0.IPv4 with address 192.168.1.11. Sep 21 06:52:40 UNRAID avahi-daemon[8721]: avahi-daemon 0.6.32 exiting. Sep 21 06:52:40 UNRAID emhttp: shcmd (73834): /etc/rc.d/rc.avahidnsconfd stop |& logger Sep 21 06:52:40 UNRAID root: Stopping Avahi mDNS/DNS-SD DNS Server Configuration Daemon: stopped Sep 21 06:52:40 UNRAID emhttp: Sync filesystems... Sep 21 06:52:40 UNRAID emhttp: shcmd (73835): sync I have waited for an hour now... I cant get the unraid to get past this stage. I tried to stop the array in the gui. I have looked through running processes and no applicatinos seems to be started. Any idea on how to get past this sync stage? Any idea on how to prevent it? Kind regards Jens

September 21, 20169 yr This post offers a temporary solution for testing: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=51983.msg500001#msg500001 Give it a try and post a log so we can help troubleshoot. I think what you have is something that is still doing disk work (a Docker or VM not shutting down) and the sync cannot finish. Have you re-assigned the emhttp port from port 80?
