September 21, 20169 yr This is a clean unraid 6.2 install and every day the server seems too be rebooting and hanging until I manually reboot the server with no active internet connection too the server. The server is on a brand new ups. I can't even type in console on the server forcing me too reboot. Here is my syslog after my reboot. Here is two screenshots of when it has happened and what is on the screen at the time. https://dl2.pushbulletusercontent.com/w6JIDJ5Gt7fHTP5eo95XdTebCM0jxCD9/asset.JPG https://dl2.pushbulletusercontent.com/rSQw6oojbd86mZlxcXbGONnWI7zsmvHV/asset.JPG Hardware Montherboard: SABERTOOTH 990FX r2.0 Cpu: AMD FX™-4170 Quad-Core @ 4400 Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Series 4GB 1866 ddr3 and a 2gb stick of some older ram not sure model Hard drives - Parity WD 4tb black, disk 1 512gb seagate baracuda, Cache 1 samsung 850 pro, Cache 2Corsair_Neutron Plugins Comunity applications Dynamix Active Streams Dynamix Cache Directories Dynamix Cache Directories Dynamix Local Master Dynamix SSD Trim Dynamix System Information Dynamix System Statistics Dynamix WeGui Fix Common Problems Nerd Tools, Recycle Bin Speedtest Command Line Tool Unasigned Devices Apps Binhex-couchpotato Binhex-delugevpn Binhex-Plexpass Binhex-Sonar cadvisor Headphones Nginx Plexpy core-diagnostics-20160921-1402.zip
October 11, 20169 yr Author Still has not been resolved, I have taken out ram and moved it around running multiple mem tests. No errors where found or crashing during the mem test. I will be replacing the usb key on Wed hoping to fix the problem.
October 11, 20169 yr Are these parts new to you, or do they come from a stable machine that has been re-purposed? What is the make/model of your power supply?
October 11, 20169 yr Author They came from a stable computer that was re-purposed. The power supply is 330w and was salvaged out of another computer, not sure the brand but is the only other possibility of the server crashing and freezing in my opinion. Its gonna be replaced when I find a couple extra penny's laying around or if the new usb key doesn't fix the problem.

Random crashes and flakiness can often be attributed to a bad / underpowered psu. When you're ready to buy, you might want to post here for opinions on the units you're looking at. Personally, I'd go for something a bit bigger to give you room to grow. Size depends on how many drives you plan on supporting...
November 2, 20169 yr Author Still not resolved. The usb key was changed, along with moving ram from my main rig to the server and running at least 20 cycles of memtest on both sets of ram with no errors. It doesn't look like the server is rebooting to my knowledge; and seems like its just locking up requiring a hard reboot. From everything that I've read on the forums people keep coming back and pointing at ram or plugins causing locking up.Should I think of swapping my power supply or possibly motherboard/cpu first? I really hope to get this issue resolved so I can quit smashing my face against my keyboard. lol, thank you guys so much for going out of your way to help.

You can easily eliminate plugins by booting in Safe mode (which disables loading plugins) and see if the problem persists.
November 2, 20169 yr Community Expert And hook up a monitor and leave it on. You are locking up there may be some clues on the monitor screen. And if you are going to start a part swapping fest, I would start with the PS. It is the one item that has not been properly vetted by usage in its present environment. Plus, a 330 watt PS seems a bit 'light' for any unRAID server and was probably a very cheaply-made one at that.
