unMENU needed anymore? Delete or remove unMENU

Featured Replies

I installed unMENU when I first built and started my unRAID server. I am on unRAID 6.1.9 and moving to 6.2....

Any reason to keep unMENU ? If not, how do I uninstall and delete any associated files?

If it is useful to keep installed, just in case, I am happy to do so.

Just wondering...Thanks!

unMenu will not work correctly under 6.2 without making some manual adjustments to some of the scripts due to some paths changing.  unMenu is no longer maintained or supported so all such issues have to be resolved by you!  You can stop it from running by removing the entry from your go file that starts it up.  In terms of removing associated files they should all be in an unmenu folder on the flash drive.

Many thanks - all sorted. I ended up doing the following (following your advice and a few other posts):

Deleted unMENU

rm -rf /boot/unmenu

Removed packages

rm -rf /boot/packages

Update "go" file

File found in /boot/config

Many thanks!
