September 28, 20169 yr Hi all ive recently built my unraid box and am moving over data from my old server, however when i set a paerticular share up i chose fill up and 300gb of 6tb left for spare. the problem is i need to leave more space. can i just go into dolphin and move the folder from disk1 to disk 3 in mnt and the user share will update itself automatically or do i need to do something else, i will change the share to leave around 600gb free on each disk (so technically move 300gb of data from one drive to another) or am i thinking this all wrong. i see the user shares as "shortcuts" to the actual disk shares so would the "shortcut" be no longer valid if i move the folder from one disk to another. 1 have a shared user folder ( i dont use shared disks) called television in the following format /television/seriesname/season/file.avi for example the first two disks are nearly full but the other two are nearly empty. so i have chosen to split the top level up across mulitple disks meaning if i viewed the disks i would have television/seriesname/allseasons on one disk then television/differentseries/allseasons/ on another. if i change this to fill up and change the amount of free space and move the files. will i still get /newshow/allseasons/ as i dont want to split shows up across drives. thanks for the help in advance
