When I had my X7SBE MB setup and running 2 SAT2-MV8s I got about what you are getting and it dropped by almost 50% when I put them all on the 133MHz slots (90MB/s to 60MB/s on the outer tracks).  Put a regular PCI card (like a TV tuner) in with either card on either the 100MHz or 133MHz slots and see it drop even further (~30MB/s).  That pushes everything to PCI speeds not PCI-X.
