October 1, 20169 yr After adding a new video card to my system and assigning it to a Ubuntu VM, I'm able to start the VM, but 'VNC Remote' option has disappeared. Is there a recommended way to access the VM that has GPU passthrough? Changing graphics card back to VNC restore the 'VNC Remote' option. Thanks, Feliks

If you want to be able to access a VM remotely which has a GPU being passed through then you have to install VNC (or an equivalent) into the VM itself and then access the VM via the VMs address (I.e. Not via the unRAID address). In my experience other protocols (such as RDP) give better performance than VNC. In other words do it the way you would with a physical machine that you want to access remotely.
