October 1, 20169 yr Don't know what to check. I powered down my server from the web page to move it to a different room. Powered it back up, and the web page never came up. Pinging it is fine. I can ssh into it, but don't know what to check. No web, no shares, no dockers/vm's. I've copied and pasted the syslog from Putty into the attached file. I really don't know what to do next, and the family would really like to watch tv.. ;-) syslog.txt
October 2, 20169 yr Author Well, I found a post describing how to get a headless system into SAFE Mode, so I did that, and got it booted, and have a web interface now with the array offline. What I don't know is what SAFE mode actually does, so not entirely sure where to look first to see what to fix. I mean, I'm sure I'm not supposed to just leave it running in SAFE mode, right?
October 2, 20169 yr SAFE mode boots up without any plugins. Haven't looked at your syslog, but for V6 you should always go to Tools - Diagnostics and post the complete diagnostics zip, which includes the syslog, smart for all disks, and a lot of other useful things. Saves us the trouble of asking for lots of different things.

It was a big step for me to figure out how to copy the syslog out of putty... ;-) tower-diagnostics-20161001-1706.zip

If you just rename the .plg files to something not ending in .plg they won't be loaded.
