Cannot change from BTRFS to XFS on cache disks

Featured Replies

Hello!

As the title says I am not able to change my file system on my cache disks as I am on the normal data disks.

I have just precleared my cache disks and when I assign the cache disks and then click into one and other I can only see the "File System Type" as BTRFS, but I cannot change it.

Any suggestions?

Below are 2 pics describing the issue

I am running 6.2

If you want to use XFS on your cache disk you can only have one cache disk .... In which case change the number of cache disk slots to 1.

If you want to use multiple cache disks you have to use BTRFS.

Ahaaa... Thanks for the info!

But if I use 2 cache disks as BTRFS, are they mirroring each others? So that I can lose one cache disk without problem?
