Hi, I have very low tech knowledge and these questions are very dumb ..but please bear with me.

1) First question, how do I actually transfer files from my desktop to the unraid server?

2) Second question, how do I actually shut off the computer the unraid is running on? I don't see a shut off option on the web utility

thank you so much for your help

You use your file-explorer to move them to network shares visible in your network neighborhood.

Stop the array by pressing the "Stop" button.  You will then be presented with a power down button.  Press it.

Nope, has nothing to do with it.

for it to be visible, you have to set the workgroup name on it to be the same as the workgroup name of your PC.  It also has to be in the same subnet of IP addresses.
