October 7, 20169 yr Hi, I recently upgraded my internet package to a 250Mbps profile. I then ran a speedtest an was only getting about 95Mbps down. I called support figuring that maybe they had not changed my profile. The tech support tested the speed on my modem and it tested around 235 down. He said that my network card is only showing 10/100 speeds available and I need the 10/100/1000 gigabit. My motherboard supports 1000 and so does my modem so now I'm wondering what the problem might be. I have unraid 6.21 installed with a Windows VM. The Ethernet driver shown in Windows is Redhat VirtIO Ethernet adapter. I'm not really sure what to do from here. Is there any additional information I can provide to help? Thanks in advance, Ryan.
October 7, 20169 yr try installing the speedtest plugin and then test it direct from unraid.. that will narrow things down further..
October 7, 20169 yr Author Ok, I tested from Unraid and the results are the same - 91Mbps down and 21Mbps up
October 7, 20169 yr Ok, I tested from Unraid and the results are the same - 91Mbps down and 21Mbps up In Unraid on the Dashboard page (bottom left) what does it say for your network? Mine says "eth0 1000 Mb/s, full duplex, mtu 1500"
October 7, 20169 yr Author It says 100 Mb/s, full duplex, mtu 1500 which is the problem I guess and something I have no idea how to fix.

October 7, 20169 yr Author I unplugged the network cable and plugged it in again and it went up to 1000Mbps. Always have to look at the easiest solution first I guess. Thanks for your help!
