October 22, 20169 yr Hello all, I am hoping this is an easy fix however i seem to have an issue with ubuntu vm's and having them reboot successfully each time. I can boot a ubuntu vm and all is well in the world, however when i reboot it, during the next boot the vm will just hang on the below screenshot and will not load (when viewing through vnc) no matter how long i wait it will not load. To fix this i can either just keep rebooting it until it loads past or i can change the machine type in pic below to something different and it will usually boot. The interesting thing is, i can SSH to the box when it's hung at that screen and any services running on it operate as they should. I've got no ideas how to fix this but i would love some suggestions as it's kinda annoying. Note, this only happens with ubuntu, pfsense never does this nor does windows not that i expect it would.
