Problems updating 6.2.1 to 6.2.2

Featured Replies

Console shows reading bzroot image and the loading bzroot image. Then it goes blank (nothing but the cursor flashing). Tried a normal boot several times and then clean boot several times. No difference. Not sure where to go from here?

I seem to recall that someone else had a similar issue, but don't remember what the solution was.

Try checking the usb in a windows PC.

Thanks but don't have any PC's. Never used Windows.

Edit: Don't think the OS really matters right? I can run chkdsk on a Mac just as well. Thanks again.

Well... The Mac is a computer and its personal, so you have a PC  ;)

If the Mac can check a fat filesystem it should be good to go.

Removed the flash drive and ran chkdsk on it. No problems found there. Manually downloaded the 6.2.2 update from LimeTech and transferred everything except the config folder to the flash drive. Ran make_bootable. I was a little hazy on the proper procedure for a manual install, maybe someone could confirm if  I did this right?

Seems to have worked. GUI shows 6.2.2.

@saarg --- Thanks again.
