Upgraded from 6.2.1 to 6.2.2 can only access using telnet

Featured Replies

So did upgrade then stopped array and rebooted. Tower is failing to show up in browser or in network on windows machine. I can telnet to machine but not sure how to get logs or force a downgrade.

Is there a wget command to try downgrade to 6.2.1?

The v6.2.1 files should be located in /boot/previous/

Or Download the files from our repo if you want...

cd /boot
wget https://files.linuxserver.io/unraid-dvb/6-2-1/stock/bzimage
wget https://files.linuxserver.io/unraid-dvb/6-2-1/stock/bzroot
wget https://files.linuxserver.io/unraid-dvb/6-2-1/stock/bzroot-gui

md5sum bzimage

md5sum bzroot

md5sum bzroot-gui

Alternatively, pull the flash download 6.2.1 on your laptop and copy the bzfiles across.

Brilliant! Managed to sftp to box and download the diagnostics

Having access to sftp has helped a little, iv noticed the ident.cfg and network.cfg where reset and not similar to my other machine that runs 6.2.1 so changed the files and tried to run "reboot -f" but nothing happens, sftp doesnt lose connection if I go back into putty session still 19 days + uptime.

So looks like to me it just needs a cold reboot, powerdown, shutdown all do nothing.

The syslog shows that the shutdown/reboot started but has not completed.  It is also showing that there is some application still active using disks1 so it cannot be umounted.

So I have docker.img and plex and plexpy that auto starts. Any way to kill them and try rebooting again? I did try halt command but that seemed to have little or no affect.

Shut down using power button on machine fixed the issue, there appeared to be some config issues but that was probably me trying to fix it earlier. Both machines now on 6.2.2 everything working again.

Did notice it appears the default docker.img location has changed so had to manually point it to disk1 instead of user/docker/docker.img

Also this might be something to do with new version of plex but on local wifi I can only get indirect connection for some reason. Never seen that before.
