FreeMan
For the last couple of months, The controlR app on my phone (Android) has shown me my server, but I can't tap on the server to get any additional info about it, and it shows a red x in a circle next to it. I've not done any trouble shooting on this in particular, but the server's IP address hasn't changed in ages. The plug in is still running on the server. I have CA auto-update running, so the plug in should be the latest available (v2021.11.25), and I presume that my app is the latest (5.1.1), as I've got autoupdate enabled on the phone too. I just tried clicking on the "Spin Up" option on the Servers list. It popped up a little box with a spinner for a while, but nothing happened on the server itself. Any recommendations on what to check? Quote Link to comment

To delete the server, swipe it left, it will display a red delete button to the right Quote Link to comment
FreeMan
I deleted the server. Upon adding it back in (using auto) I got this message: However, nas.local resolves just fine in my browser: Gets me to the ControlR config page w/o issue Quote Link to comment

Can you try using the ip address instead of the hostname ? Just to check if that works. Quote Link to comment

Just to check if that works. hmmm... bizarre. The address bar pic is from my desktop machine. My phone cannot resolve nas.local in a browser window, saying "site cannot be reached". When I try adding the server manually by IP address, I get: It's attempting to convert the IP to a host address, it seems, then is failing to resolve the host address back to an IP. If there are any rules blocking it in the phone, I'm certainly not aware of it, plus, the "Discover" method of adding it can find the server (by IP, I presume?). I honestly don't have a clue what might be blocking access to the server from the phone when the phone can clearly see that the server's there. Quote Link to comment

ChronoStriker1
I to also have the issue where the link has the wrong port. I also have the myserver plugin and due to that when i try going to the qr code with the correct port I get this error An error occurred during a connection to *obfuscated*.myunraid.net:2378. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. For some reason I am unable to get the app to connect manually ether, it just sits and spins. Quote Link to comment
Mjaore
I’ve got an issue with the iOS app. I always have to force quit it before it works again (it looks like the app freezes in the background) Anybody had an issue like that before? Quote Link to comment
MyKroFt
since the last update the first 2 icons on the bottom stopped working. i have uninstalled and reinstalled, but get the same, the shares, dockers, vms and system info all pull up my server data, any suggestions, SS attached from app. the parity just has spinning circles, the 2nd one - no data at all, used to be there, also do not see any info in the log file on the server. Is there a limit on # of drives so it might be failing there? I have a total of 41 drives in the system, but it was working with that many before. Thanks Edited May 25, 2022 by MyKroFt Quote Link to comment

Artur1990
Hi, How can i see this? I couldn't add server with qr code. Get this With discovery it works, but in webui of plugin nothing changes, still see qr code Quote Link to comment
MaroonOut09
I just discovered and downloaded the app, and I'm also getting the error code 2301, "Unable to add server". I get the error if I try to add my sever using Discover or QRCode. If I try to use manual, it just hangs with the spinning wheel. Also, when I try to open the WebUI from within Unraid, I get an error saying, "Site cannot be reached". Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
fonz88
Any chance we can get iOS Widget support? It would be nice to get details from the lock screen like UPS status/Disk space along with other information your app can provide. Quote Link to comment
gxs
Hi I'm also experiencing problems. Two of my servers don't work but one server does. I can't add them even though both are found by using automatic search. It just works on it forever (spinning circle). Same result if I use manual mode on both http and https. Also if I click on the Open Web UI ( v3.0.0 ) link I get ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in all browsers on all of my machines. This is also weird. Server that is not working: controlr 8549 root 11u IPv6 1355 0t0 TCP *:2378 (LISTEN) controlr 8549 root 12u IPv6 30575 0t0 TCP *:2382 (LISTEN) Server that is working: controlr 13117 root 11u IPv6 34868 0t0 TCP *:2378 (LISTEN) controlr 13117 root 12u IPv6 30249 0t0 TCP *:2382 (LISTEN) controlr 13117 root 13u IPv6 22407 0t0 TCP *:2379 (LISTEN) It seems that port 2379 (web interface) is never created. Any insights? Quote Link to comment
