the missing csrf_token is not an issue, it just tells wether the server is up or down

Received update to android app today v6.9.1.

Now I can see docker and VMs. Although icons don't show for them.

I hope that was the intention with this update.

Yeah... the rebind protection is probably what was causing it. OPNsense doesn't have a way to whitelist rebind domains, but I was able to add a DNS override to Unbound to point my specific myunraid.net address to my server's local IP. That seems to have fixed it. Sadly Controlr no longer works over ZeroTier though. Guess I'll investigate wireguard at some point.

i haven't tried zerotier, but i can vouch for wireguard, i set it to on demand on my phone and it works seamleassly when im out of my wifi coverage, no hiccups at all (using navidrome to stream music or to access my unraid server)

Oh it probably does under the hood, but I don’t think it does through the OPNsense GUI. This works and means I don’t have to go making manual edits via the terminal to config files I’ll just forget about. 😆 

Well, the Controlr app stopped working for me.

 

I uninstalled the old plugin, installed the new one (Controlrd), removed the server from the app.

Now, it can't find me server if I try to re-add it. The app continuously says the server is offline, even though it's online. All that, in my home network.

 

What gives?

hi, are you accessing your server via https ? if that's the case you need to provision a let's encrypt certificate and access the server with the myunraid.net url, you can find some screenshots in the faq (https://www.apertoire.com/faq/controlr/#cant-connect)

Why is this? This feels like a rather large loss of functionality. I was ok with only accessing it on my local network or via VPN. I could use my own hostname without having it remotely accessible via myunraid.net. I can just go back to http, but I would rather my connections be encrypted even if the cert isn't signed. What was the reason for breaking this? I can't find anything in your FAQ.

yes, i should add something to the faq

basically, on ios/android platforms you need to override a lot of configuration in order to be able to connect to https sites with self-signed certificates and both platforms, which leads to a lot of workarounds as well, a valid certificate is by definition also more secure

i may revisit this in the future, depending on any platform changes

this is still the case, *.myunraid.net dns resolution still returns a local ip

Giving this a try - looks interesting, it gives basic control (it's in the name?!) Would be nice to have per VM/Docker container logs. I also can't see total disk usage and it doesn't show pools, though that may be coming with unraid V7? This looks like a great start though!

I use NUT plugin instead of native UPS, so no information about remaining power

could you add support of this plugin?

 

Add an option to hide VMs tab, Vm is disable on my system (maybe usefull for user docker too)

 

Add a tab for plugin usercripts, not editing but just "run in background" and "logs"

I just bought the app on iOS and I am not able to connect to the server. 
I installed the plugin and tried with the QR code but it tells me that the server is offline. I tried the other two options and it doesn't always say that it is offline.
For more information, the server has a local IP and is under HTTP.

hi i just got an alert for the plugin in unraid that is not compatible wit 7.0. same as unbalanced. I'll remove them for now but looking forward to putting them back in my server

I am having this same issue.  And I can confirm that I have SSL set to "no".  Just updated unRAID to v.7.0.  Was working prior to this upgrade.  Tried uninstalling the plugin and re-installing.  No dice. 

 

EDIT: actually, got it working, but had to manually enter the info in the iPhone app.  Would nto work using https.  Had to use http. 

 

One item of note though, I can no longer launch the web page access to each docker.  That option is gone.  The globes aren't there.

Is there a plan to bring back the WebUI linkage for each Docker container in the iOS app?  At one point, it did work, but now I only have Stop/Start and Restart available.
