I have been away from unraid for a long time and now getting back to it. I already have an unraid  5.0 server that i use for storing media, but just built a new computer and installed 6.0 on it.  I plan to use this as a plex server but how can can i link my movies folder from my other server so the plex can add the movies?  (I'm new with linux)

Use unassigned devices plugin to mount the remote share and pass the path through to the plex docker

Didn't specify, but within the docker's template, set the "mode" of that container volume to be RW,Slave for the best experience

I ran into another issue, I'm trying to add another folder share in plex docker.  I keep getting this error....

 

Command:

docker: Error response from daemon: Duplicate mount point '/mnt/user/appdata/PlexMediaServer'.

See '/usr/bin/docker run --help'.

 

The command failed.

 

As i see above, its related to duplicate mount point.....  Do i need to add another folder in PlexMediaServer? 

 

I can't figure out how to fix this.  I can get one folder share working but not w/ 2 or more..

Assign a different container volume for the ud share.  Something like /media.  Then within plex you add /media to the libraries
