October 27, 20169 yr Hi, I'm have an existing general share that is accessed my multiple users. Within this share I want a subfolder that only 2 users can access. I've read that this can be done using 'smb-extra.conf', but can't figure the steps or if this is still the preferred way. Do I have to create the subfolder after using 'smb-extra.conf', or do I create the subfolder first? Thanks for any help.

November 4, 20169 yr Community Expert Why not just use the product as designed and make another share that you can set differently, instead of using subfolders of an existing share?
