Network Speeds

Featured Replies

I ran speedtest on my unraid server and got 100MB/S upload and download.

Wondering why I can only download at 5MB/S using sab and usenet and upload using rclone at 3MB/S

Any ideas?

Most of the speed tests that I have run report the results in Mb/sec  NOT MB/sec.

Don't be feeling too bad.  Most of us have made that mistake at least a couple of times.  ::)  And then there is the confusion of whether MB is 10^6 bytes or 2^20 bytes (that is 1048576 bytes in decimal notation) or the even more confusing 1000 X 2^10.  :o

EDIT:  2^20 was 10^20.  :-[

Nah, MB as 10^20 is hands down the most confusing one, huuuge! ;D
