System:

Mainboard:  Asus X99-E WS

CPU: Intel i7 6950X

RAM:  128 GB DDR4 2666 MHZ Corsair Dominator

PCIE3:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI OC Gigabyte

PCIE5:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI Gigabyte

512 GB NVME SSD

250 GB SATA SSD

8 TB HDD

PSU:  1200W Corsair

1. VM Win 10 for me:

12 vcpus

30 GB RAM first problem because when use 100 GB Ram at WIndows start it takes over 5 minutes until on start screen with smaller ram no problem also when use only 1 vcpu and 100gb ram in VM start quick.

6 Monitors / TFTs:

PCIE3:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI OC Gigabyte  -  3 Displayport to TFT

PCIE5:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI Gigabyte  -  3 Displayport to TFT

512 GB NVME M2 SSD to SATA VM passtrough

2. Problem:

When i start the VM often it work 5 - 10 Minutes then get this error:

qemu-system-x86_64: vfio_err_notifier_handler(0000:06:00.0) Unrecoverable error detected. Please collect any data possible and then kill the guest  this is the GPU PCIE3:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI OC Gigabyte  -  3 Displayport to TFT

2. VM WIn 10 Game Server :

6 vcpus

20 GB Ram start really quick take 30 sec.

PCIE5:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI Gigabyte - 1 Displayport - 1 HDMI to TFT

250 GB SATA SSD to SATA VM passtrough

2 VM same problem as fisrt VM also when they run not at same time and also when they run at same time.

When i start the VM often it work 5 - 10 Minutes then get this error:

qemu-system-x86_64: vfio_err_notifier_handler(0000:05:00.0) Unrecoverable error detected. Please collect any data possible and then kill the guest  this is the GPU PCIE5:  Nvidia GTX 980 TI Gigabyte - 1 Displayport - 1 HDMI to TFT

After VM or VMs crashe must use force stop that i can start again.

Oh i forgotten both  VM are set to Q35 because when i use / try with i440x  the Displays / TFT / GPU show many mosaic and crazy lines ...

And i also disabled hyperv and tryed kvm hidden state on because i read helps with Nvidia GPU

Also is there a way i can passtrough my TPM Module to the first VM ?  I seaarched but here in unraid and google nothing found about it.

I also use this start parameters for unraid but problems also with or without them only tryed if it helps

append intel_iommu=on vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 initrd=/bzroot

This are the problems i have and make me headache because i try unraid different settings in vm etc for over 2 weeks now .  etc read many treads at this forum other forum etc very crazy dont know what i can to.

Sorry for so much text  but hope i forgot nothing that can help fix this problem.

Hope someone can help me thank you :)  :) :)

No one can help ?

So much drama!  ;)  (I say it because you use so much bold and red!  and that's a little offputting)

And I can't help either, no VM experience, but I can suggest reading Need help? Read me first!, and attach the diagnostics zip.  That will help others help you.

I did a quick Google of "vfio_err_notifier_handler", and noticed a few suggestions, but they may be old and inapplicable.
