October 31, 20169 yr Hello, I just recently installed Linux Mint onto 1 of my VMs for unRAID, and noticed the audio is all sorts of messed up. It's stuttering, skipping, sounding really weird, and even won't let videos play right because of it on YouTube... for some reason. I initially thought it was a networking issue, but even the testing in Linux Mint showed it was really strange. HDMI port is out of a nVidia GTX 660TI GPU. I am new to trying to pass audio out, so I'm wondering if I made a mistake or is there something I need to do to allow the audio to stream consistantly, as this VM will be used to connect to a home theater setup.
February 6, 20179 yr I'm having similar issues with a GT730 - everything's perfect except the audio. I've ensured the card is MSI enabled, and tweaked mint to make sure it's using it that way also... no luck. Anyone else have any ideas? - my server's still more or less in dev mode so I can live with breaking it
February 6, 20179 yr some audio/video issues can be resolved via cpu pinning/isolation. post your xml and cpu tread pairings.
