Need to reboot remotely, no gui

Featured Replies

I do not have physical access to my unraid server at this time. SSH still works. I have a process taking all the CPU. I have tried reboot from the command line, but it did not actually reboot. Any suggestions?

Try  shutdown -r    and    powerdown -r

If they don't work, post back with the version of unRAID you are running.

EDIT:  Added the -r option to both to reboot the server rather than a full shutdown!

Don't forget to use the reboot option when trying those => otherwise you may simply turn off the server and have no way to restart it  :)
