No idea.  Better off asking in couchpotato forum or torrentpotato if you get no replies from anyone else here.

Under the TorrentPotato section you put in the TorrentPotato link for that tracker from Cardigann into the host field. You then put the Cardigann API key into the Pass key field. Leave the username field blank (I haven't seen anything require this field).

Make sure the box at the begginning of the field next to host is checked as this shows that you want to enable that searcher. That should be all you need.

Just wanted to quickly say this docker is awesome, the program is awesome and works well. Thanks LinuxServer team!

Dimtar, nice of you to say so mate.  I reinstalled telegram last night so was planning on sending you a PM.  Is the Unraid room still going?

First I would kindly like to thank you for this docker.

I would also like to know how to add the trackers mentioned in the github as they are n.a. in the docker web interface. I am particularly interested in https://www.worldofp2p.net/index.php tracker which should be supported but cannot find it as an option.

Thank you in advance.

Alexandro, I'm afraid I don't know, we don't necessarily use the apps, we just make the docker.  Probably best to have a look here and see if that helps at all.  https://github.com/cardigann/cardigann/

@Alexandro

I would suggest creating an issue on the github page that CHBMB linked. I just pulled down the latest version to my windows box and it seems to be missing that indexer as well as the docker so maybe its an issue with Cardigann its self.

Thank you both CHBMB and Dimtar.

As I have never done this before I will register and try to report the issue.

Best regards

I've reported the issue on the github, but a contributor has just reported it is working fine for him.

I'll add to it.

Thanks Dimtar.

Have installed this and I am unable to get any trackers working.

Greetings,

is there a setup and config guide for this docker? I am currently using CP and Deluge (may add sonar soon).

also jackett, cardigan, or both?

Cheers!

Is there any public sites available?

Jackett and Cardigann are effectively the same but Cardigann is written in the GO language so it may be better long term. Either way, installing the Docker takes a few minutes. Why don't you install the docker and take a look around?

Far as setup guide, the GUI is pretty easy to use (not as flashy as Jackett though).  I transferred all my stuff over from Jackett, and it's been working fine for me so far.  MUCH more stable than Jackett on my system as well (Jackett required me to restart it every few days, it would stop responding to polls and the UI).  Also, resources-wise it feels lighter than Jackett.

Just set this app and so far it's pretty nice.  I have been on the official github and noticed that there have been a lot of updates in the current version, some of which I would like to use.  I'm pretty new to docker, so I haven't seen how often these get updated.  Anyway, any chance we will be seeing a new docker with a new version of cardigann on here soon?

Is there anyway to run this with a HTTPS or SOCKS5 proxy?

Not a lot of activity in this thread. Anyone figure out how to get cardigann working with privoxy?

On github it says:

Quote

Using with a Proxy

Currently either a SOCKS5 proxy like Privoxy or Tor can be used:

SOCKS_PROXY=localhost:1080 cardigann server

Or, an http proxy works too:

HTTP_PROXY=localhost:8080 cardigann server

If you are running as a service, you will need to manually edit the service files to set the environment.

But I'm not clear where that goes? in the config.json? is it some sort of startup command?

Edit: I created a new variable, where key = "HTTP_PROXY" and the value = "<my server ip>:8118" and it seems to have done the trick. Not that I can really test it in this case. I just have to assume it is working :)

Anyone still running this docker? When I try to go to the web address [IP]:5060 it doesn't connect to anything.

The log appears as if it is running:

time="2020-12-01T21:32:30-05:00" level=info msg="Cardigann dev"
time="2020-12-01T21:32:30-05:00" level=info msg="Reading config from /.config/cardigann/config.json"
time="2020-12-01T21:32:30-05:00" level=info msg="Found 0 indexers enabled in configuration"
time="2020-12-01T21:32:30-05:00" level=info msg="Listening on 0.0.0.0:5060"

I can get a console and run a query, though it errors out because I don't have anything configured.

suggestions?

Update: port 5060 is blocked by current browsers so I changed the host port from 5060 to 5070 in the settings and it works fine now.
