VM/VNC Server Disconnected (code:1006)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Almost got my first unraid builds complete (Primary and backup server). Everything is working fine on the backup server but the primary server won't let me use VNC to install Windows on VM's.

If I use the web-vnc it's gives me "Server Disconnected (code:1006)" and when trying the realvnc viewer it just closes as soon as I hit connect. I have no issues using VNC on my backup server.

Tried searching but couldn't find anything to fix, any ideas? I've tried re-creating the vm's multiple times with different windows versions.

part of the vm xml config:

    <graphics type='vnc' port='5900' autoport='yes' websocket='5700' listen='0.0.0.0' keymap='en-us'>

      <listen type='address' address='0.0.0.0'/>

    </graphics>

    <video>

      <model type='qxl' ram='65536' vram='65536' vgamem='16384' heads='1'/>

      <alias name='video0'/>

      <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x02' function='0x0'/>

    </video>
