February 13, 201016 yr Hello; I just ran across this oddity on unRAID 4.5 beta11 with the following settings; Share name = Movies Comment = Allocation Method = fill-up min. free space = 50000000 Split level = 1 Include disks = disk1 disk2 exclude disks = Disk 1 has a directory "Terminator Movies" in the share and disk1 has ~162gig of free space. However, when I added the subdirectory "terminator Salvation" to the "Terminator Movies" directory it split to disk2 and created a new "Terminator Movies" directory in the disk2 share. The disk1 would have had more than the 162gig free when this bad split happened. Also, disk1 is still being filled as I copy over more movies. I don't see the problem so any ideas what happened? I only used disk shares when I re-arranged media quite a while ago and they have been turned off since then. At one point, the share was set to high water with 0 min free space but that should not cause a split like this either. Peter
February 13, 201016 yr Author I checked the share more and found more sub-directories that have split but were blank and another movie that split to disk2 when it should have gone on disk1. It appears every sub-directory in my "Movies" share got re-created onto disk2. Something's not right here... Peter
February 14, 201016 yr I have the same share method as you but I have split level set to blank, and don't have this problem.
February 16, 201016 yr Author Well, it seems no-one knows. So, watch for this guys. Split level = 1 means only the Movies share should have split but sub-directories should not but it happened anyways. Peter
