Server unresponsive overnight requiring hard reboot

Featured Replies

Hi All, I'm new to the forums and have been trying to resolve my server being unresponsive in the morning.

So far I've had to carry out a hard reboot each morning after which everything seem to work fine.

Normally i'm only using unraid as NAS and running docker for PLEX media server.

To try and isolate issues I've created a fresh install and tried the Fix common problems plugin with no faults.

At this point i'm unsure if i have a hardware fault or a config issue.

all help greatly appreciated. diagnostic sys logs attached.

Post the complete diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics

if it happens every night there could be some issue with the cache triggered when the mover runs, so change the mover schedule and check if it doesn't crash.

Possibly unrelated but this disk need to be checked:

Device Model:     WDC WD30EZRS-00J99B0
Serial Number:    WD-WCAWZ0037236

197 Current_Pending_Sector  0x0032   200   200   000    Old_age   Always       -       3

Run an  extended SMART test.

@johnnie.black - You are exactly right about mover, i just tried move it now and unsaid unresponsive and PLEX docker stopped. Now i just need to see why mover is taking the array down.

Thanks for the head up on the drive.
