I have a 1.0tb Parity and a 500gb drive.

 

I was wondering if I can add an additional 500gb drive and copy those files to my 500gb thats already in the array.

 

The reason is I don't have another computer to copy over a network.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can add the drive to your unRAID server without assigning it to the array and then copy the data across to the array.
