Mount Share as Local Disk in VM

Featured Replies

Hello,

first of all i want to thank the unRaid Team an this great forum for such a great work and this nice piece of software or OS, just unRaid.

I´m already testing unRaid 6 and want to buy it but now i ran into one big problem i cant solve on my own.

My Problem:

I´m running Windows 10 in a VM and DVBLink (Software for TV over IP) this works nice with the PCIe passtrough of my 2 DigitalDevices DVB-C Cards and my DigitalDevices Octopus CI.

But the only thing that i havent managed to get it working is my recordings folder, it is created as an smb share in unRaid but i can´t access it in DVBLink because DVBLink only supports local disks as a recording target (DVBLink runs as a service on the VM).

Is there any way to mount the share (like in the Linux VM´s) as a local disk in the VM or as a folder on (not a link with mklink - dosen't work either) my VM disk or a workaround for this?

I hope someone can help me with my problem.

Already i did a lot of research if this is possible trought NFS an a 3rd party software but i didn´t find anything.

Also i've had a look at NetDrive2 but it didn't solve my problem.

Sorry for my poor poor english... (i hope someone can read this...  ;D )
