Slow GUI 6.2.4 /6.2.3 - Diagnostics will not download.

Problem:  GUI seems intermittently slow (especially takes a long time for Unassigned Drives to show) and I've had the Rootfs fill up in 3 days- very slow transitions away from Main to the other Tabs.

Other than that the server is running fine.

As requested I have run the Diagnostics but no file downloads.  (Tried two different browsers)

Any suggestions on how to get the diagnostic file?

Please find the syslog.txt which downloaded no problem from the settings page.

I had assumed you would need some of the info in the Diagnostics download to help.

To reiterate the main problem -

Switch to Main fast - but takes ages to load page (measured in minutes)  - switch away from Main takes ages (measured in minutes) - switch between any pages, other than Main, fast (measured in seconds).

This seems to have got worse recently.

(also Diagnostics.zip will not download)

The link I mentioned also tells how to get the diagnostics from the command line. Did you try that?

I'm not physically close to the server and cannot SSH in from my current location (firewall restrictions) - so no.

I will do it and post it later on.

...I've had the Rootfs fill up in 3 days...

This is not normal and suggests something is either filling up your logs (not currently happening based on your diagnostics), or some addon (plugin, docker,VM) is misconfigured and writing to the wrong place.

unRAID OS runs entirely in RAM. It is unpacked fresh from bzroot, bzimage into RAM at each boot. Most of the usual Linux folders are in RAM. Only /mnt, the mount point for the drives and user shares, and /boot, the flash drive, are actual persistent storage locations. Everything else is in RAM.

What dockers are you running?

. I am trying to find out your volume mappings.

Attached. Sorry I missed half the images on that  post  that was linked as I was trying to do it on a tablet at the time. It probably would  have helped if you had asked the above as well as posting the link.

I think the slow gui is something to do with the unassigned drives plugin as it seems to have a problem with the smb drive mounts if the hosts aren't switched on.
