just got new drives put in and 'invalid configuration' cannot start array

i have been running with a 1tb and a 500gb drive in slot 1 and 2. i removed drive 2 and put in a 2tb wd red and put another 2tb wd red in parity after they passed preclear. i am unable to start the array for an invalid configuration. the 500gb drive had pretty much nothing on it the 1tb has alot of stuff on it. i was not running parity. is there any way to force the array to start with the new drives?

    No, just make sure you don't assign a data disk to a parity slot.
