Deleted plugins directory...

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anybody can help me out. I am on 6.2.3. Can anybody post default plugins directory with all default files (dynamix) online somewhere for me to download? I was cleaning up deleted plugins directories and like an idiot erased the entire plugin directory. Now I am afraid to reboot and lose everything...If anybody knows what is going to happen once I reboot without plugins directory or what might be the best way about resolving this issue, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that this is /boot/config/plugins directory

EDIT: Made a new flash drive to take a look at the content of that plugin directory and it looks like there is barely anything there. Wonder if I can reboot. I created a new plugins directory just in case, but still kinda scared to reboot...

The only things that I see in that directory are the plugins which I installed after the fact.  So what you ask is really quite impossible as your setup will probably be different than anyone else's.

I would go the plugins page in the GUI and look at the installed plugins.  There are only two default plugins -- the unRAID OS and the Dynamix webGui.  Everything else was installed after the fact.  I would print down the page and then print down any pages that have setting for those plugins.  Reboot your server.  You will then have to reinstall off of the plugins and reconfigure any that require it.

Once you get everything back working, you should stop the array and and make a backup of your flash drive.  (An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!) You will have to do it again if you change your drive configuration or add/remove any of your plugins.

Yeah I am not really concerned with losing all the plugins. I just want to make sure unraid will come back up after i reboot it...
