[SOLVED] 6.3rc3 - shares and webui gone!!

Featured Replies

Help!!!  My smb shares are not accessible and only my unassigned drive and flash are visible.  Initially I could access my server via the webui, so I rebooted and now I can't access the webui either.

I can access via putty and when I go into mc all the shares and drives are there and I can browse to the shares via mc.  On the putty status screen it says 'array started' as well.

How do I fix/get diagnostics via SSH???

Thanks in advance for any help.

The syslog is pretty short and I don't see anything, but often user share problems can be caused by a corrupt cache. I see you have a pool. Maybe something in the check filesystem wiki you could try.

i tried

btrfs scrub start -B /dev/cache

but got

ERROR: cannot check /dev/cache: No such file or directory
ERROR: '/dev/cache' is not a mounted btrfs device

btrfs scrub start -B /dev/cache

That won't work, use /dev/sdf1

ok, panic over.

I'm home now and I managed to boot into maintenance mode, which made me realise it was probably a dodgy docker, plugin or script.

My first guess was right and the problem was my rclone script which was doing my backup job at the start of the array.  Previously I was using overnight cron jobs, so having the script run at the start of the array was allowing the cron job run but was freezing the machine.

Thanks for everyone who tried to help.
