November 11, 20169 yr Wondering if it is possible to move data AUTOMATICALLY across the array as i have hard drives that are 95% full and have just added two new drives to the array? Is it possible to do this automatically? Or does it involve manually doing it through MC? Also using High-Water as my allocation method.
November 11, 20169 yr Community Expert Not automatically but you can use the diskmv script to easily move a complete share or folder that's in one or multiple disks to the new disk.
November 11, 20169 yr Author Thanks for your help Team just wanting to confirm that UNBALANCE plugin does that completely clear a disk and move the data across the array or is it possible to use for a smaller task like moving a share/folder like what johnnies mentioned with that script?
