Hi,

I just got his error after being prompted to update to the latest version of CA whilst I was in the Auto Update Applications settings menu.

A banner popped up at the top the screen prompting me to update CA to latest version - I clicked update - updated successfully - now I get this error each time I go to the Auto Update Applications setting.

In the "Docker Auto Update Settings" settings tab, there is the setting "Time to wait for docker graceful stop before killing".  What unit of time does this use?  Seconds or minutes?

I would like to know this too, thanks to anybody who knows.

seconds.  unRaid default (cannot be adjusted) is 10 seconds

Running into an issue in the update docker section. I had some old containers installed that I have since removed but they are still showing in this plugin and have an unknown status. Don't know where to clean this up. I've attached a picture.

How did you install them originally?

Beyond recreating the docker.img, not quite sure what to do there.  Maybe advanced view on the docker page and delete them from there if they show up?  unRaid's underlying system *thinks* that they're still there.

Yeah I did check the advanced view and removed anything that was orphaned but those were not some that were still there.

In the docker section, I notice that if I set the "all" switch to off so that I can pick and choose, my last Docker doesn't appear... (It's Wallabag FYI). not sure if it's specific to that docker, or an "off by one" kind of error.

Is there anyway you can add in to not do auto-updates if the parity check is being run? It updated a bunch of my dockers while parity check was being run and they orphaned a few of the containers because the CPU was too busy. Make it an option to select? E.g. Do not update during parity check

FYI,

If you're using this plugin and are on 6.9.0-beta22, your plugins will not have been updating on a schedule.  You will need to manually update (Plugins Tab), or hit the link from the banner when in the Auto Update Settings to update this plugin to version 2020.06.27+ for this to work on 6.9.0-beta22+

Also should re-iterate that when this plugin is set to Update All Plugins, it will also update any languages which you have installed.

Hello @Squid, I am one of the Spanish translators and I have a question regarding this plugin. I understand that the phrase in the Docker tab "Do not overlap with autoupdate" means that the frequency shouldn't overlap with the Plugin update check frequency. Am I wrong? Thanks!

Edit: Also, to have it perfectly translated you should include in the file the words Disabled and Custom (to match the gender correctly), and I don't know why but the different days of the week are not being translated.

The overlap message is indeed referring to frequency.   I'll look at the days not translating.

Thanks.

I have a weird issue where my letsencrypt docker container is not showing up in CA auto update. The container updates and behaves normally and as expected fine in the docker Tab. But it's as if it's not installed when I go to CA auto update.

Tried reinstalling the container and the plugin without luck. Any hints?

Not really....  Trouble is that I've got no problems.  The plugin gathers it's information from what Unraid itself.  I could diagnose via some scripts etc, but not particularly feasible for me to do this until week of Aug 2nd after the flying coffin (hopefully) gets me back home from a "if you can't laugh you have to cry" installation for work.

PM me that week, as I will definitely forget all about this.

I just installed this plugin and it doesn't seem to register any Docker containers. I have one stopped and one running, but the settings page is empty:

Not really sure how to proceed… can I help debugging this in any way?

My first guess is that if you're running an ad blocker (or any other browser add on) to white list your server.  Or, does it work if you use a different browser?

Doesn't look like it. Neither Safari nor Firefox seem to block anything, also no errors in the consoles. The unraid host is whitelisted in Firefox too.

Are these ones you've installed without filling out a template?  Try filling in the "Registry" entry when you edit the container.

That worked! I had to set the "Docker Hub URL", then the container showed up. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, I'm not sure why I have it checking for that entry.  I can only assume that I did that for a good reason, but I have no idea what the reason might be now that I looked at the code again... 🤔
