February 17, 201016 yr I was really surprised that unRAID used telnet - didn't think anything used that anymore as it is very insecure. Is there any hope of at least adding an ssh server to unRAID?
February 17, 201016 yr This is quite easy to do yourself using the standard slackware openssh packages. Have a search in the forums, there are plenty of guides!

April 1, 201016 yr Author Yeah, I have unraid on a full Slackware install now so I have ssh running and many other things that I want to use on it as well.
April 5, 201016 yr Install ssh through unMenu 1.3. However unRAID was designed for home use and to be run behind a firewall so there a lot of other security holes (that actually doesn't matter to home users).
