preventing unraid from storing vms on cache drive.

i have a 200gb hdd for cache drive and its got 2gb free now. how do i prevent unraid from storing the disks on the drive? how do i go about moving them off of it?

you can go to settings, VM manager then toggle to advanced

There you can set Default VM storage path to whichever share you like.

To move the disking VMS you could use a VM like krusader to move them ( have a look at this video which shows krusader for backing up VMS http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=53435.msg514515#msg514515  )

After moving them, you would have to edit the location in VM manager  for the vdisks in each individual vm to reflect their new location.

Personally, I wouldn't run VMS from the main array due to the parity writes. You could, however, attach another HDD as unassigned device and use that purely for vms.
