unRAID 6.2.4 new clean install cannot add user shares?!

Featured Replies

trying to add user shares, only getting message "share media has been deleted" and does not show up in my shares. ad blocker is disabled. When i go to main page and browse drive 1, any share names i tried to add show up, but no where else, not even from another windows machine under network - tower. The only thing that shows in the network folder of tower (even if i loggin under a user name) is "flash".

Brand new build, HDD's are used but SMART data is healthy, SSD is a few years old but fine for cache, even my parity drive is in good health.

Am I missing something?! Are ALL the guides and videos wrong or missing things?

AsRock Extreme4 3.20 BIOS

32GB Quad ch DDR4 2133 Hynix ECC RAM

Xeon E5-2630 v4 (10 core/2.10GHz)

4 x 500GB HDD's (array)

1 x 1TB HDD - parity

1 x 120GB SSD - cache

Everything is default setup according to Limetechs videos, but i cant seem to get any shares to work (disk or user)

Also having trouble installing iso's for the virtual machine (trying to install an actual copy of windows 7 pro OEM so i can have my PC back)

Array is XFS and cache is BTRFS

Thanks for the noob help. I was starting to think I' d have to buy for functionality. There was no warnings in the GUI, i did see on the boot screen (when the GPU was still given to the unRAID OS) that there was some kind of md5 error in the XFS on some disk, but I couldn't decypher which disk. Thanks to your helpful link I was able to get the system fully opperational including my windows 7 Pro x64!

Got GPU pass-through, but it doesn't like my logitech USB keyboard. :(
