unraid base url

Featured Replies

Is there a place in the unraid settings where we can change the base url to add a subdirectory like http://localip/unraid ? I'm trying to reverse proxy unraid admin through apache but the admin links are broken if I set the unraid url to domain.com/unraid

Do not expose the unraid management site to the internet. If you want to remotely manage your unraid box, either set up a private VPN, or use another secure remote management product to connect to another peer on the local network, for example, you could use teamviewer to log in to a local windows machine and manage unraid from there.

The unraid GUI is not based on a standard secure web server with regular updates and security testing, so who knows how many security vulnerabilities have yet to be found and patched. It is a VERY BAD idea to expose it to the internet in general, even through a reverse proxy.
