I'm going to build a new UNRAID box.

Currently considering a E5-1650v3 CPU

Supermicro X10SRi-F MB, Socket R3 (2011-3) Motherboard

32gb ram

Provision for 4 SSD drives and 6 x 3.5 drives for the array.

(The MB will accommodate 10 sata devices)

 

According to the spec for the MB, it requires a revision M case.

I've had a look and I can't find a cost effective case which will house the devices.

Most of the towers I looked at only had slots for 4 3.5 drives.

 

Any suggestions foe cases?

 

Any alternate motherboard suggestions.

I think I want 6 cores, so has to be an e5.

    The X10SRi-F is a standard ATX form factor => you can use any case that supports ATX motherboards.
