November 21, 20169 yr Hey UnRaid guys... I just tried setting up my first VM. I passed through a very new 1070 GPU, multiple USB ports, and I put it on the cache drive using its own share... I put 120G, 1 CPU (cause I want to upgrade to Windows 10), 32 GB RAM, and I picked all the defaults except Hyper-V = NO (cause nVidia GPU), i.e.: i440fx, SeaBIOS, Host Passthrough, virbr0. My virtio drivers are 0.1.126, and I'm using the current Windows 8 ISO from the disk creation tool... This was the message: internal error: early end of file from monitor: possible problem: 2016-11-21T00:35:41.434862Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=04:00.0,bus=root.1,addr=00.0,multifunction=on,x-vga=on: vfio: error opening /dev/vfio/33: Operation not permitted 2016-11-21T00:35:41.434887Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=04:00.0,bus=root.1,addr=00.0,multifunction=on,x-vga=on: vfio: failed to get group 33 2016-11-21T00:35:41.434899Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=04:00.0,bus=root.1,addr=00.0,multifunction=on,x-vga=on: Device initialization failed 2016-11-21T00:35:41.434909Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=04:00.0,bus=root.1,addr=00.0,multifunction=on,x-vga=on: Device 'vfio-pci' could not be initialized Can someone help me get started trying to figure out what to do first? I have no idea what to do with this information...
November 21, 20169 yr Not that I'm able to help, but I can tell you that the first thing anyone who can help is going to want is to see your diagnostics (Tools - Diagnostics), and probably the XML file for the VM (edit the VM xml and post the contents here)
