Can't Access WebUI on a fresh installation of unRAID.

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I am relativity new to unRAID however I have managed to deploy an unRAID box as a storage machine on a small network as an alternative to another windows server machine or something like freenas.

On my latest unRAID venture I was planning on installing it on an a machine with the intention of testing how VM's run on unRAID. After downloading a fresh install of the latest version of unRAID I booted the machine into the OS just fine and then hit a problem, I can't access the machine over the network at all. I can't access the WebUI or even ping the machine for that matter.

System Specs:

AMD FX-8350 Eight Core

Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3

2x AMD FirePro V4900

32GB DDR3

I have tried to eliminate the variables of other network hardware by connecting two machines together directly and just changing the ip addess so that they were on the same subnet but that didn't work either.

I'm all out of the basic troubleshooting tricks so if anyone else has any idea of what might be the issue here and how it could be fixed!

Any and all help is appreciated,

Thanks,

Fraser

On the machine in question what I normally do is access console by using Root as login and then typing ifconfig to make sure I have the correct IP address and then access your machine via your network by typing http://IPADDRESSHERE

If the machine is up and running at the console after root login, you should be able to type diagnostics to get the diagnostics file to help with debugging.
