Hi All

 

I have a HP microserver Gen 7 with 16gb ram and a Sas HBA connecting to a dell MD3200.

 

It's currently got 3 x 3tb drives internally (one as parity two for data) working but when I got to add any of the drives attached to the MD3200 the page refreshes after selecting it from the drop-down list  and they are not added to the array

 

I have ran the re-Crear on the drives and tried adding but I get the same result

 

Any ideas anyone ?

Was the fix the "Display world-wide-name" setting?

 

Just curious, as I haven't seen that issue before.

Yes, affects mainly SAS disks but it can also happen with SATA disks on SAS controllers that use WWN.
